Domaine de Pallus Chinon 2007

Appearance: Medium garnet with slight brick hues.

Nose: Red cherry, blackcurrant, dried herbs, graphite, tobacco, and earthy forest floor.

Palate: Medium-bodied with silky tannins, fresh acidity, red and black fruits, savoury spice, and classic Cabernet Franc minerality.

Finish: Elegant, earthy, and persistent with notes of cedar and dried herbs.

Drinking window (2026)

At 19 years old, it is fully mature and should be enjoyed now if it has been well cellared. Expect tertiary complexity rather than vibrant fruit.
