It is no secret that Argentina is renowned for its beef. The Argentine Hanging Tender beef cuts are some of the most sought after in the world, and for good reason.
The beef comes from a breed of cattle known as “Angus”, which are raised on wheat and grass rather than corn or grain. This gives the meat a unique texture and flavor that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The Hanging Tender is an acquired taste; customers have commented that it tastes liverish and slightly funky. It is cut from the muscle on the inside of the beef carcass, attached to the end rib, diaphragm and kidney.
