Franco M.Martinetti Marasco Barolo 2000

The 2000 Barolo Marasco appears to be more or less at the same level as the very fine 1999, a solid garnet with ruby highlights, much wild cherry fruit and spicy floral aromas. Ample in body, long and ripe, the light notes of caramel and vanilla mesh well with the classic flavors of red fruit, tar, and licorice.
