The Orikasa farm in Makubetsu-cho, Tokachi district, Hokkaido, Japan, has a distinctive organic farming technique that relies solely on green manure and foregoes the use of pesticides, compost, and fertilizers. Masurao Orikasa-san, the owner, wants to bring back secure and independent farming methods in Hokkaido.
A slow-growing variety of Kurosengoku black soy beans, which was extinct in the 1970s until it was revived by a group of enthusiasts, is grown on the farm. These soy beans are renowned for their high isoflavone and polyphenol content, and they also taste great.
The rich flavor of the lovingly roasted and finely ground kinako powder harmonizes perfectly with Okinawan Kokuto.
Brown sugar, milk powder, organic soy bean powder, and cane sugar are among the ingredients.
