Observe the experts at work.
Pickled tea known as "awa bancha" originates in Japan's hilly Kamikatsu town in the Tokushima Prefecture. Hiroshige Takagi-san from Takagi Nouen, a master of the age-old craft of creating awa bancha, expertly crafts this lot.
The distinctive pickled ume and malty scent created by the anaerobic lactic fermentation of the tea is highlighted by our preparation using the vibrant Semuliki Forest chocolate from Uganda.
Cacao, cane sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, and tea leaves are the ingredients.
