Chateau Ferran 2006 is a wine of great subtlety and magnificent fruit intensity. It is expressed on notes of small red fruits in a tense and silky register. The tannins are refined and the mineral expression is radiant. The texture is delicate and unusual. It is definitely a great wine from Pessac-Léognan.
Vinification: Manual harvesting, vinification in stainless steel vats, vatting for 20 days at 30°C, aging in stave oak barrels, 35% of which are new wood.
Colour: Deep, brilliant red colour.
Nose: Delicate and tasty nose, aromas of red and lightly toasted fruits.
Mouth: Supple and harmonious mouth, the tannins are refined, the texture is elegant, lovely fruity notes.
