COOKING & PREPARATION:

Defrosting the spareribs: If the ribs are frozen, it’s best to let them thaw in the fridge overnight. Keep them in a sealed bag or container while thawing to maintain freshness and ensure even cooking.

Preheating the oven or grill: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) or heat up your grill to medium-high.

Preparing the cooking surface: Line a baking tray with foil for easy cleanup, or lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the ribs from sticking.

Cooking the spareribs:
- Oven method: Arrange the thawed ribs on the prepared baking tray. For extra flavor, you can coat them with barbecue sauce before baking. Cook in the preheated oven for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily separates from the bone.
- Grill method: Place the ribs directly on the heated grill and cook for around 1 to 1.5 hours, flipping them occasionally. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). If using barbecue sauce, apply it in the last few minutes of grilling for the best results.
